About The Authors

Hemali V. Vora, MPT, is an expert holistic practitioner, intuitive energy healer, and a spiritual mentor. With over two decades of working in the healthcare field as a physical therapist, she has helped, coached, and guided hundreds of patients, and their families to deal with chronic illnesses, disabilities, and personal traumas.

Her fascination with every aspect of life and death and dying inspired her to complete End of Life Doula training through the University of Vermont, Larner College of Medicine.

 

She provides comprehensive support, comfort, and guidance to the dying clients and their families with end-of-life transitions, legacy projects, preparations, and through the bereavement process.

 

She educates communities on the importance of advance care planning for end of life to achieve comfort and peace at the end of life. She hosts in-person and virtual Death Cafés, a space to talk about death and dying.

In Sacred Death, Hemali is joined by 24 end-of-life experts, coaches, healers, therapists, and practitioners who share their stories, experiences, and tools to help caregivers navigate and honor the death of loved ones and clients.
